YOU CAN’T GIVE SERVICE IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THE NEEDS
You need to understand enough about the client’s business to conduct a knowledgeable business conversation and to recognize problems and opportunities when you see them. You will never know as much as the client does and you don’t need to.
Keep in mind the following:
- Check with the client to be sure the plan you are implementing is the most helpful to achieving the client’s goals
- Go the extra mile to provide service to the client
- Discover the major problems the client is trying to overcome
- Learn how you can be helpful in correcting some or all the problems
