ALWAYS BE LOOKING FOR NEW WAYS TO HELP
Once you are fully on board and knowledgeable if you are able to discover innovative ways of helping the client reach his/her goals, then you will be on your way to becoming a valued resource.
Keep in mind the following:
- Listen to the client in order to pick up special needs or problems being encountered
- Take notes for further reference
- Observe, when possible, to personally understand the problems in greater depth
- If you can envision a possible improvement in servicing the client, test your thought process with others who know their business
- If the idea seems viable, discuss it with the client
- If the client has interest then develop the idea and implement it
- If the idea is commercial and will make the client money it will be especially valuable.
